At Nudge, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and with whom it is shared when you use our Chrome extension.
1. Data We Collect
Nudge collects only the data necessary to provide its core functionality. We never read, harvest, or transmit the content of your emails, LinkedIn messages, or WhatsApp conversations.
- Task metadata: Contact name, task description, reminder date/time, conversation URL, CRM pipeline stage, completion status, and timestamps - entered by you when saving a task.
- Account information (authenticated users): Firebase Authentication user ID (UID) and ID token, obtained when you sign in with Google or email/password via Firebase.
- Installation ID (guest users): A randomly generated identifier stored locally to associate your tasks before you sign in.
- Settings: Your in-extension preferences (e.g., owner name, pipeline configuration).
- Internal debug logs: Timestamped event logs (e.g., sync success/failure) stored locally in
chrome.storage.localfor troubleshooting. These are never transmitted automatically.
2. How We Use Your Data

- To display your tasks in the CRM-style dashboard and pipeline views.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the extension.
3. Data Storage
- Local storage: Tasks, settings, installation ID, alarm index, and debug logs are stored in
chrome.storage.localon your device. - Cloud storage (authenticated users): Tasks and settings are synced to and stored in Google Firebase Firestore (project:
task-crm-edf17), a cloud database operated by Google LLC. Data is stored under a document keyed to your Firebase UID. - Cloud storage (guest users): Tasks and settings are stored only in
chrome.storage.localon your device. No data is written to Firestore for guest sessions.
